    • Punching actually works now!
    • Implemented ragdoll and force from impact when a player gets downed by an NPC. Kapow!
    • The toilet on floor 2 is no longer out of order. Try not to clog it up again please.
    • PS4 controller Left Trigger now works correctly
    • Camera zooming is a bit better than it was before (we'll continue to improve this!)
    • Character-select portraits no longer affected by post processing so their colours are correct
    • Added invisible barrier inside elevator that activates when all players are inside so they don't caught in the doors
    • Standing on a rooftop window makes it break after a few seconds!
    • Fixed the hat on player Guard Outfit to stop them floating
    • Loot value is now saved per-level, so retrying a level only resets your loot amount to what it was at the start of that level
    • Picture of uniform on Floor 2 above the elevator is now navy to match the required costume
    • Palm tree colliders fixed
    • Several minor visual tweaks and fixes

One of the great things about bringing your games to conferences is the sheer amount of things you'll learn about what needs fixing, whether it's a bug or something you notice about the player's experience. After bringing our game to EGX London we had a whole bunch of stuff to do, so this update contained a lot! We also realised from our Discord community that people require support for a variety of 3rd party controllers, so we've tried to address that too.

    • We've added new music to the first level! It's quite the toe-tapper.
    • We overhauled the logic behind the main menu for a more pleasant experience.
    • NPC heroes now stop clinging onto players when they're knocked out. Gerroffame!
    • Shooting camera glass in elevators now cracks the game camera!
    • Vent shaft grate no longer blindingly shiny. Grate!
    • There was an annoying little lip on the rooftop stairs preventing players from walking down. Is gone now.
    • Handle removed from trash chute to avoid confusion. Push the button, duh!
    • Punching was causing some bugs in the background. Now it doesn't.
    • Double Mesh on Fire Extinguisher has been fixed so it doesn't look all weird.
    • All costumes on the clothes rails now have that golden 'you-know-you-wanna-wear-me' sheen
    • Breakable Glass on Vending Machines is back.
    • Added delay to controls orientation in elevator, so that you don't feel like you're drunk walking into the elevator anymore.
    • Shotguns now drop red empty shells instead of regular bullets because that made no sense and we're all about realism here. They also display 0 ammo when they're empty even when not held
    • Fixed the slight delay on removing locks that have been unlocked.
    • If you get knocked out ON TOP of a can, the can now actually works.
    • Added scuff marks to ground below bookshelf, as a hint. wink
    • The bookshelf is much less prone to glitching out now.
    • Added necks to NPCs so that they don't get stuck in doors... as much.
    • Fixed rooftop LOD fence issue. I'm sure everyone noticed.
    • Touching the helipad chain link safety pads no longer causes players to fall over.
    • Cracking glass on the rooftop is fixed, as in now it breaks.
    • Added Generic Controller maps.
    • Added Unknown Controller maps. Mysterious.

Beautiful work! I remember seeing this in progress a while back and I was impressed with the constant action and polished feel.

Thank you! :) We've been spending most of our time improving the core mechanics before we add more content, but we're almost at that stage! We'll soon be adding 'The Den', which is the gang's hideout that serves as the game's main hub. Looking forward to getting it out there, and then adding more levels!
