    Hey all,

We've decided to create a forum area specific for 2D.

    Enjoy!

    Thanks,
    Graham

Over here the 2D forum icon does not show either. I tried with google chrome and IE and still no forum icon.

Btw, thanks for the 2D forum ! I'm not using 2D yet but I'm sure this forum will help when I do !

My programmer art wasn't good enough to make the icon. It's just missing completely. Sorry. Will get fixed.

Ahhh! 2D was what I was waiting for. I have no interest in 3D games (playing or making) so until now there was no reason for me to use Unity.

So now I'm starting from Square 1 with no tutorials available. Exciting times! :)

The vast majority of what applies to 3D also applies to 2D in Unity, so I'd say just do the standard tutorials, they're still applicable. The new sprite stuff is still technically 3D; the only thing truly 2D is the new physics engine.

Done a few 2D games so will hopefully be able to add a few tips and tricks for people. Good initiative.
