I too would like to be part of the beta program. I was using Bolt 2 Alpha quite a lot. So I'd very much like to see the updates and improvements and to continue using it.

 

Hey @LaurentGibert - It sounds like Ludiq removed public access to all their Bolt-related tutorials on Youtube. Do you know if it's possible to find them somewhere else? Or to get Private access? I was in the process of learning so it's a bummer. Let me know - Thanks!

Did anyone mention beta ?, in this quarantine it is worth trying everything in technology ... I join the list.

I can hardly believe that we will finally have visual script on unity. Keep up the good work.

 

So now I cant buy bolt 1 because I will have to buy bolt 2 in a couple of months. Why new buyers cant get one buy acces to both as well?

 

I appreciate the detailed update. I guess the question that immediately comes to mind for me is what are "significant structural changes?" While not entirely feature complete, Bolt 2 was nearly there based on the original development plan, and was mostly operational, so to significantly change course as it was nearing Beta, is already concerning.

Can you please elaborate? Or will that be part of the release notes?

 

They had to get the Ludiq namespace out since they don't own the rights to it. By the words of one of the developers on Discord about 7000 files were changed to achieve this. I assume they did some housekeeping along the way to better fit the new team's workflow as well.

I am using the alpha since its first release. It's structure is so much better than the bolt v1. I created some tutorials in german. Also got a bunch of licences for education. I switched my class from playmaker to bolt. So please add me to the beta list. And second question: how can I transfer the edu licences, since there is no educational program any more?

I recognize the namespace change, and they already referred to that. However, they also referred to "significant structural changes" without elaborating. Being this is a project near and dear to many peoples hearts, a little more transparency on that point would be nice, or at least to clarify that it will be in the release notes, that's all.
