    Hi all,

Just trying to get some info on a weird specular I'm getting. I've had to dive into someone else's project but I'm not Unity savvy unfortunately. The problem is coming from the specular which has a blotchy feel to it.
If I import the same object into a new scene, the specular is fine which makes me think that the problem is coming from the player settings rather than the texture (which is a plain and standard specular setup material).
I've checked other threads but can't find anything matching this.
I've uploaded a short screen recording.

    Thx. Appreciate the help.

Provide screen cap of expected result, and screens of whatever settings you suspect.

    Hi pointcache,

Apologies for the late reply but i've been away for a week.
As asked, I've attached a picture showing both speculars (expected and problematic).
As for which settings i suspect, unfortunately I can't say which one. As previously stated, I'm not all that used to Unity. I just presumed that the problem specular was coming from one of the settings as if I were to import the same object into a new scene, the material would show a normal specular.

    Cheers. Appreciate the help.

Does it have a normal map?
