Question Weird Shimmering Effect with Directional Light

    So I set my directional light to rotate for day/night cycles and I'm getting this weird shimmering effect. At first I thought it was the trees or grass but I turned everything and I still get it. Only time it goes away is when I remove the terrain layer from the directional light.

    Any ideas what causes this?

    Bit late for reply but I had the exact same issue. Error was replicated where the join in the terrain is slightly overlapped and light reflects on join shimmering. Join exactly on edge and position correctly and it stops.
