I'm currently on unity's 5.6.1f build and i'm running into an annoying bug which doesn't hinder my development but just becomes an eyesore. Every time i minimize then resize the editor, i keep getting random windows on the gui turning black. Once i click on them they restore themselves to their normal state, but i'm hoping if there's a solution posted on the forum for this. I'm new, but from what i searched i couldn't find any solutions to this problem. I'll post an image.

Also, another question.... is there anyway to edit unity's fixed minimum size for its editor. Because i'm trying to make it so that the editor only takes up at minimum 50% of my screen. But it seems capped at like 80%. Is there any solution to this? If so, i'd appreciate the advice.

I'll address the 2nd part as the 1st looks like a bug.

What do you mean by "edit Unity's fixed minimum editor size"? Do you mean make the Scene view smaller? I got it this small:

Or do you mean the Window size?

Both cases are a lot smaller than 50%.

I guess, in a sense, the second one.

I mean the actual full editor's size. I want it to snap to 50% of the screen so that when i watch tutorial videos i don't have to bare with only 20% of the screen for the video. Granted, i could dual monitor, but atm i don't have the ability to do that. I posted an example pic, sorry for the late response.

I think there's a minimum width for Unity's window. For me, it's straight in the middle:

So it appears you'd need a larger screen or dual-monitor setup. You could probably find a cheap monitor used on Ebay, for programming color accuracy isn't too important.

As for videos, you could use the Opera browser which lets you put videos in a separate floating window. That doesn't fix the problem, but at least you could have a resizable video window you could put where you have space.
