    Hi,

    Can we run the WebGL export on a mobile browser say Safari on the iPad Air?

    Well I tried it on the iPad Air and it didn't work. The loading just stops when the bar is full and nothing happens. Maybe it's a bug? Or is mobile browser support for WebGL in Unity3D not available at the moment.

    Tested the link: http://beta.unity3d.com/jonas/WebGLBenchmark/
    - Nexus 9 Android 5.0 -> Chrome browser doesn't work
    - Nexus 9 Android 5.0 -> Firefox browser doesn't work
    - iPad Air iOS 8.1.3 -> Safari browser doesn't work

    All have the same problem, browser loads the page and starts loading the WebGL scene but stops when the bar is full.

    Unity has said many times that WebGL is not supported on mobile or tablets.

    For now, anyway. Eventually mobile browsers will have decent support for WebGL, but it will probably take a while.

    Sorry I didn't keep up with the whole Unity 5.0 news. Mobile browsers already have decent support for WebGL look at Blend4Web for instance that works perfectly on a mobile browser.

    No, WebGL support on mobile has a ways to go. Certain things work, but Unity needs broader support.
