It is only expected to work in the browser when building to WebGL, not in the editor.

The sample scene is now working. Is there a way to stream downloaded video using the plugin?

We also have video on Youtube. Can we stream the video from Youtube to Unity? If not, we can just upload the video to other hosting site, but how can we stream it?

The plugin takes a url as a video source. It will always stream the data from that url.

Just spent a day trying to improve the contrast of my WebGL Movie Texture. My film maker partner decided to make a movie with a very white movie (like pen and ink on white paper) and the contrast started off too dark or light grey and then everything I did (including adjusting all manner or ambient lighting and skybox settings and intensity and bounce (whatever that is!) just made it washed out.

The short answer is I had to adjust the position and rotation of the Directional Light in the Scene to point down on the plane I used to render the texture. Everything else didn't work - but I think also using an Unlit/Texture Shader on the material of the plane seemed to help. Easier said than done as the re-building and testing of WebGL Movie Textures is very time consuming process.

I really hope this helps someone - including the use of some key words I searched for all day including WebGL Movie Texture Contrast Lighting Washed Out Too Dark Grey.

The movie appears to be reflecting on other surfaces, even when reflection probes are turned off.

Any ideas how to stop this please?

    Thanks.
