I just updated my Unity from 5.3.7 to the current version. With 5.3.7 the WebGL Datafile was about 50MB and with the newest version it's suddenly 130 MB. I haven't changed the source code so why is the file suddenly so big?

I don't use developer build and I also use compressing for building

I also get the error message when I load my game in the browser that I run out of memory.
And even though I increased the memory in the settings from 256 to 500 I still get that message.

Something I hadn't problems with in Unity 5.3.7 at all. WebGL worked fine with the default settings and the file was only about 50 MB

Can you submit a bug report with a repro project and ping the case number here?

My project is not allowed to give away unfortunately, Is it helping if I add only the built log to the bug report?

This Shader Variant Collectionue, is this something I can select in the project settings or for what do I have to search in the source code, maybe it's something from the assets that I use

You can find it on the settings, see the manual.
