watermark in unity indie web player

as i understand it, there is a watermark that is placed in web games produced with the indie version of unity. i have downloaded all of the web demos that are posted here on the site, but could not find anything that really looks like a watermark. additionally, i've searched through the whole website as much as i could and still did not find anything.

i am considering purchasing unity, but for right now, i only want to purchase the indie version, but only if the watermark is not terribly instrusive. if it is, then i guess i'll have to spring for the pro version.

can anyone please show me what the watermark looks like?

 

The last I knew about this subject the Watermark only shows up in web players played on Windows machines. The Watermark is the Unity logo that you see at the top left corner of this page and is pretty small (about half that size), but visble at all times at the bottom right corner of the web player.

if you have a windows machine you'll see the watermark. and nope it doesn't show on the mac player.

 

Right--it's only on WIndows, and not very big. It doesn't interfere with a game unless the HUD needs that corner. It's not like the giant diagonal banner I've seen on some 3D apps

 

iv only played unity games on windows, and havnt noticed the watermark... gotta check it when i get home ^^

 

hmm.. first actually noticed it after reading that it was there... its even in colours... unity orange.. i think i need glasses ^^
