I tried to find out why is it making tons of camera gameObjects in the hierarchy and it's obviously somehow baking reflection for skybox etc... But it's really annoying that it's creating these objects on its own from the root in the hierarchy and it makes orientation through larger projects really ugly.

I am able to delete most of these, but some can't be deleted and they will eventually flood my hierarchy again after a while. Also, reflections are working fine even when I delete those objects. I would just be so happy if those objects could just create inside another parent gameObject.

Any insight would be appreciated, thank you!

I don't have a solution, but just in case you are not aware, it is called "Water4" because it was created for Unity 4.x. It is really old, and no longer getting updates/fixes.

Thanks, I didn't know that! I thought it was actually because it has 4 tiles of water in one prefab xD

I would like to keep using it because it looks really good in my project and it seems to be really cheap on performance. But just in case, do you have any recommendations for a more modern solution for implementing water?

I've tried a few different ones, but don't have a specific recommendation. The one I'm using in my project is called Ceto Ocean System. It got deprecated on the Asset Store a while back, but I saw the code got posted online for free. I don't know how well it works in current Unity versions, as that project I have on 2018.2.21.

I see there are a ton of water shaders on the Asset Store now though, much more than when I was first looking for a solution. I know a lot of people on the forum recommend AQUAS, which appears to be on sale right now.
