Is it possible to make something like the following in Unity? Any recommendations on where to start? Thanks. https://area.autodesk.com/tutorials/vfx-tutorial-water-logo-morph-3ds-max-phoenix-fd-/
If you just want the finished logo, a refractive water/shader with a normal map. If you want to simulate the fluids, that's going to be trickier. There are some water assets in the Asset Store, but really you need a bunch of particles for it to behave anywhere close to water and not like a blobby gel. For maximum particles, you need the new VFX system and HDRP. But then, you still need to find a shader or some other method to create a mesh or mesh-like surface to render it. I don't know where you would find that, but I think it's possible.
If you'd like something simulated, take a look at FluvioFX, which is both free and open source (shameless plug, I'm the developer): https://twitter.com/getfluvio https://github.com/thinksquirrel/fluviofx Happy to answer any questions if it looks like a good fit! And if this is for paid/commercial work, I'd be happy to offer services for implementation as well.
