Why is my water(basic) looking like this when it shouldn't be? I imported the water(basic) package and then I placed the daylight simple water. Why is it looking like that for me? Please help!

You are using Unity Free. Get Pro for the fancy stuff with it.

if you want the good stuff, buy pro. However; you can also use a cubemap. here's a link to an asset that will make the cubemaps for you!(not mine but free): http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/cubemap-maker.77581/

I also recommend this for indie users: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-free-bloom.152665/page-1
    and
    http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/in...-post-process-fx-to-unity-indie.198568/page-1

for all your indie post proccessing(also not mine but free).

That's what it looks like.... You could try a better water texture, or import the pro standard assets and then use the water4. It looks decent; has waves, normal mapping, etc...

Did you UV unwrap the mesh you use as a water plane?
