Was Hyper Light Drift made purely in 3D?

    Yo

    I am working on a game that will be in 2D and isometric. I was reading a mix of things on here about 3D camera in 2D or what ever so I wanted to ask this.

    How to approach making a 2D game with a Camera angle like in Hyper Light Drifter?

    hyperlight drifter was made in gamemaker 2d only

    AFAIK they ported it to Unity later on.

    In any case, it's 2D.
