I was browsing reddit and noticed this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/7ksqfv/does_indiecade_play_the_games_they_review/
which contained a lot of negative feedback from developers who have submitted their game in the past to IndieCade.

The fees this year are $75 or $100 and even more if you submit past the deadline.

The negative feedback stems around that this fee includes several judges playing your game and you receiving feedback about your game. In the thread a lot of developers claim they never received any feedback, and several claims that their game was never even played by anybody from IndieCade.
And that when they contacted IndieCade about this they didn’t even get a response, despite several attempts.

Anyway, please read the thread before you consider submitting your game.

Well dang. If I wanted to spend $100 and get no feedback, I might as well publish on Steam.

I received a boatload of feedback from having my game on Steam, several pages of posts in fact.

In general I found the community very supportive and helpful, and I'm busy including all those updates in the next release that will also be on mobile global launch.

That's impressive. I'm guessing you must have marketed your title(s) well?

No marketing whatsoever, I've hired a PR company to do marketing for my global mobile launch in July though.

Did you make your own intro video? Looks quite nice!

Oh, I'm currently thinking about hiring a PR company in the long run. Would you mind sharing your experience with us? (wich one you hired, price, what did they do... that kind of things)
    Thanks :)

That video was done by my UI artist :) He's a multidimensional guy.
I just captured a variety of game footage, sent him a script/requirements and voila. He even sent the first draft with that tune playing, I liked it so much I just went with it!

I'm getting the tracks/environments overhauled and adding a track editor, it as the most requested feature on Steam. So this time I'm getting stuff done properly and its going to look so much better. The existing tracks were worked on and modified over the years by like 5 different artists, so was a bit of a mess.

I'm going ahead with Novy PR, they're a great bunch and I've been in contact with them for over 5 years now, and only finally now are we actually working together. I won a competition with Microsoft Windows Store where 20 games were selected for the Novy PR discount, and I was one of the games. So for pricing, you'd need to contact them directly, they also offer several packages, reach out to them, they are really friendly :)

My game is only having a full global launch/marketing push in July, so I haven't 'used' their services as of yet. As of now I just have a document I went through with them in a meeting that I need to fill in, with a bunch of questions/assets that they need to review, and then we'll have further meetings to discuss the best options/timeline for launch.
