Walking around on a moving space ship and flying it ;) Comments anyone?

    Hit E at the cockpit controls to fly the ship from interior view, X to exit back to walking around the ship while it is moving and oriented in any direction.

    Left Control to Accelerate Q/E to Roll while flying.

    Questions, Comments Anyone?

    Could you build it to WebGL?
    You can publish it on itch.io or GameJolt if you don't have a cloud server / website to publish to.
    As this would be easier to play and as you only have 2 posts more acceptable than downloading and running your zip/exe file after virus checking it first.

    You need a different location to host the files. Just about anything would be a better choice than that URL. I recommend a solution like Dropbox, iCloud, etc or Mediafire as your current URL has a very scammy feel to it.

    Concerning the actual project my only real comment is that the controls just don't feel like the controls I've used in other space games. Games with bulky spaceships, which that one looked large from the inside, tend to make them rotate more slowly and they don't speed up and slow down quickly either.

    WebGL is just too hit or miss with Unity right now. Besides I just ran it through VirusTotal and then tried it myself. It's safe.

    I own the website it is hosted on.. anyway its not even pre alpha As far as the controls. Right now it is a proof of concept. You can walk around the space system and seamlessly transition from flight to walking. As far as rolling and acceleration, I do not believe that will be an issue once it is programmed into the controllers. Right now I am using simple forces on the ship.

    I probably would have gotten farther but had to stop to do the ladder, and you may not have noticed but you can jump out of the large doors and free fly around in space. A space suit sim will be needed, It can be added to the zero gravity controller.

    Eventually I will get all of these things done.

    right now I am working on fixing a few collider issues that cause you to get stuck or fall through. Then, I am working on the Zero gravity space suit controller.

    You will be able to exit the ship in zero gravity and "Mag Boots" and walk around on objects in space like a "space station".

    Demag and fly right back to your space ship.

    As far as I know none of this has been done in unity. I can not find any videos or demonstrations of a "star citizen" like space simulation.
