WACK fail - Platform version Launch

    Hello,

    I just recently upgraded Unity to 2018.2.17f and Visual Studios 2017 (15.9.3), and now when I build my game for UWP and run it in WACK (Windows App Certification Kit) it fails. The frailer is Platform version launch test.



    Everything was working before I upgraded Visual Studios. Any ideas on what I need to change in Unity or Visual Studios to get past this message in WACK?

    @Tautvydas-Zilys I have the a full dump file. I'm not sure what I need to be look for.

    You could look at the callstack inside the dump, or send it to me.

    Hi @Tautvydas-Zilys ,

    I found the issue. I deleted my Visual studio solution folder and re-built it from Unity. For some odd reason, the folder size was over 400gb. My project source files aren't that big in size. The build size is around 32gb. I'm not sure what was going on. I thought that Unity just rebuilds the data folders. I think something was not getting updated correctly and the size has grown.

    I'm not sure if you want a bug report, but I'll keep looking at the size of the out put folder.

    Does WACK pass now? I've not heard of any issues like this before.
