Hi guys, I've been creating some skill icons lately and will be putting them up on the asset store soon. Will be updating my progress here, do give some feedback if you're interested!

I noticed that many people asked for icons separate from the backgrounds; well, that's what you'll be getting in this pack so I hope they'll be of good use! PSD will be included in the pack and I'll share more about editing the icons soon.

For now, I have grouped the icons according to colour.



I have around 15 skill icons per colour category so far, working on a green set right now so stay tuned and do check it out soon when it's ready!

update on the psd's, I have decided not to include them in but instead will be providing the icon images without the backgrounds in addition to the completed backgrounds; this is for those who use other software for their artwork or are not very familiar with photoshop. (also my layers are in a bit of a mess.)

shall start putting the icons into the unity package next! current icon count is 91.

I'm watching the thread. Just so you know it's not as quiet as it seems in here.

Do you have a price range that you think you might release the icons for?

Also, is it going to be one package for all icons or split between packages such as, "Water Blue" , "Shadow Purple" , "Nature Green" etc.

What resolution is each of these icons? I'm asking, because I bought an icon pack a while ago, but those images were rather small (100x100 px) and then I ended up not using them, because they appeared quite blurry in the game.

 

all icons are 256x256 pixels

Hi everyone, thank you for all your support so far for my first icon pack! Your support has allowed me to continue with my new asset store pack, Editable Skill Icons: SURVIVAL. Here is a teaser image of some of my sketches I have planned for my next set! stick around for more updates!

 

Some Icons to expect in the upcoming survival icon pack:

Resources (food/water/raw materials)
Traps
Power sources (batteries/ the sun?!)
Light Sources (Torch/Fire/Lighter)
Medicine / First Aid

Total Icons unconfirmed, looking at around 50 unique icons.

The icons look really good and professional! Really love the work.

I am missing some "darker" horror icons:
- A summoning icon where you see a dead rising creature like zombie and or skeleton. A skeleton hand rising from the ground would be cool also.
- A boiling blood icon and fog icon (like poison fog)
- A crying face for a "Flee" spell.

General Icons:
- I can not find general attack icons. Like a sword icon, or a shield icon for block spells. (not survival I man, more fantasy / WoW like)
- Also general summoning icons for all your elements would be great like water element for water, fire element for fire etc. (One element icon where you can change the color and background would be enouph I think).

Questions:
- You don't have any holy spells? Normally yellow would be holy Like Healing spells, sanctuary etc.
- Can I edit the yellow icons like the yellow thunderbolt to a blue thunderbolt for example? So all your "water" icons could also be changed to shadow icons? Because for me some electricity icons make more sense with a blue background than yellow.

regarding editting the icons to change their element . colour scheme, go right ahead! I made this icon pack as easily editable as possible so you can create much more icons easily using these as a starting point.
