Vuforia + Mixed Reality Toolkit Crashing

    I'm working on a HoloLens application on Unity 2017.2.1. When I create a brand new project it crashed when I press play in the editor if I've done the following:
    1. Import the Mixed Reality Toolkit (I've tried version 2017.2.0 and 2017.2.1)
    2. Applied Mixed Reality Project Settings
    3. Applied Mixed Reality Scene Settings
    4. Add the Vuforia Virtual Reality SDK from the player settings
    I've noticed if I remove the GestureInput object from the InputManager prefab it does not crash, but then I can no longer use gesture input.
    Any ideas what's wrong?
    Is there a version of Unity or the MRTK I need to be using?
    If you need any more information, let me know.

    I have some other issues that may or may not be related/the cause of this. I can't authenticate my login because I'm at work on a proxy and do not have a connection (I can't even download anything from the Asset Store). I do not have the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (I have't ever had this and it hasn't been a problem with my other non-Vuforia HoloLens applications even though it shows the error about this).

    You probably do need that Win 10 Creator Update.
