Question VSync won't stay enabled in game

    As the title states, I'm having an issue where the "VSync Count" setting I choose on the "Project Settings" -> "Quality" page immediately switches to "Don't Sync" as soon as I hit play in the Unity editor. Seems as if it started happening out of the blue, but can't rule out doing something which may have broken it. Not sure at this point if it is happening in deployed build. Are there any circumstances where this should happen or is this a possible bug/code issue?
