Hello, I have built a unity application (win x64) for a VR headset (HP reverb G2) with OpenXR. I've setup windows (10 Pro, up-to-date) to launch the application after startup and it works well. I am using a HP VR Backpack G2 PC and plan to use it without a monitor, only the VR headset is connected to the computer. However, when the PC is started without a monitor connected, the VR headset does not turn on until a monitor is connected. Is there a way to start a VR project without a monitor? Note that unplugging the monitor once the unity app has started does not turn off the headset.
I think it might be best to ask the device manufacturer - I think it depends on their runtime drivers + OS interaction. It's out of the scope of Unity's control. There are options like cheap HDMI dongles that mimic a display, virtual display drivers, etc as a secondary option.
