VR Beginner Escape Room Prototype - choppy movement

    I have a clean install of Unity 2019.3b, Oculus Rift S, and a decent spec desktop on which I have played many VR games very smoothly. However, when I load and run the Prototype VR level from the new VR learning course I find that as pick up an item and move around - the movement of the item itself in my hand is very choppy.

    Has anyone else experienced this type of choppy movement? Is it because the XR interaction package is still in preview?

    its likely because we're using physics to move the object. you'll get better results with the frame rate, and physics step at the same rate. we'll still be a frame behind. its something i'm hoping to look at!
