volumetric light thru a window

    Hey there.
    Im trying to create a volumetric "god ray" thru a window.
    But the window just blocks the light from a spotlight that is faking the ingoing lightsource.
    If i drag the spotlight thru the window into the volume it works. But what should i do to let light thru the window?
    Im using HDRP 7.5.1.
    Latest Unity.
    The window material is transparent of course.
