Visual studios not working with Unity

    for some reason whenever I open a new script from unity to visual studios, the visual studios doesn't show the console, instead, it is a blank screen, with an output and error box but no code or anything. why is this happening?

    I am seeing this as well using 2019.4.8f1 and vs 2019 community. I have a copy of the project from 2019.3 it does not have the issue, vs runs fine with that solution file.

    It may occurs time by time. Did you try reinstalling visual studio and unity?

    As I said it works fine with a version of the game from 2019.3.x, I don't believe a reinstall is the answer here.
