    Hi,

The question is: Does anyone know about installing the software Visual Studio or not? If so, which of the applications are recommended to install?

Exactly what Kard says above: hub installation is always simplest.

Here's a few more notes to help you keep VS happy:

This may help you with intellisense and possibly other Visual Studio integration problems:

Sometimes the fix is as simple as doing Assets -> Open C# Project from Unity. Other times it requires more.

Other times it requires you also nuke the userprefs and .vsconfig and other crufty low-value high-hassle files that Visual Studio tends to slowly damage over time, then try the above trick.

Barring all that, move on to other ideas:

Also, try update the VSCode package inside of Unity: Window -> Package Manager -> Search for Visual Studio Code Editor -> Press the Update button

Speaking of the hub be aware that if you go to download a release of Unity that offers a different release of Visual Studio than you currently have installed it will default to trying to download that version of Visual Studio. If you only want one copy on your computer (eg I use VS 2022 and don't want VS 2019) you will need to deselect it every time.

I'm not sure if the information was helpful, but I'll see which application works best.
