Since updating to 2018.1, I'm noticing that Visual Studio is reloading all VS projects much more often than before. At least every time I add a new c# script, and try to open it in Visual Studio, VS reloads all of my projects. Has anyone else experience this? Is this the new way of things, or is there something I can do to correct this?

    Thanks,

    -Dan

    More on this:

Just clicking Edit Script will tend to trigger a reload of all projects, even if I was just in Visual Studio and I tab back to Unity to click Edit Script. Renaming a script will also trigger a reload.

I removed Visual Studio Tools for Unity, but it has no effect on the problem.

I know it's not really a fix, but have you looked into a different editor?

Well, I made some time to full uninstall/reinstall Visual Studio, after which this is no longer occurring. So, not an ideal solution, but workable.

Incidentally, after reinstalling VS (which resolved this issue), my Solution Explorer looks completely different:

Compare that to the attachment in my original post. Anyone have any thoughts on why it would have changed?
