Question Visual Studio Quick Actions

Hello, i have recently started using visual studio and i have been following a lot of youtube videos to code. Alot of them use this 'quick action and refactoring' but i cant use them. Im not sure why but when i right click and scroll on the quick actions, all the options there are unclickable. I cant use any of them. Do i have to download them to use it? I tried searching it alot online but no one else have this problem, everyone has them built in. Did i mess up somewhere that caused them to become unusable..? I have no idea. That looks like some sort of plugin within VS. Right below the one you have selected is the normal/inbuilt "Quick Actions and Refactoring..." - it's the one with the lightbulb icon. What happens if you select that one instead, does that one give you any selectable options?
If the second one works, then you should probably find what plugin or extension is installed in VS for it to provide that other quick actions option. Based on the (VA) after the refactoring, I'm going to guess that it is the Visual Assist version. Perhaps go through and remove Visual Assist from your Visual Studio.

 

Thanks!! I have installed a few extensions not long ago as i thought it would help me in coding, one of which was visual assist. I have removed it now. But i still dont have many options like 'extract method' and such.. I have only these ones. What other extensions should i remove?
