    Should I implement monobehaivour is it nessacary or recommended.

    Really, you need it.

    Monobehaviour has nothing at all to do with monodevelop. It's simply a window to Unity's main class and you need it. It's terribly named too & should be depreciated tbh :)

    Yes.

    Except I've been doing Unity for so long I got totally used to it. I had to reread the letters to figure out why the name was misleading.

    Off the top of my head something like ScriptableComponent would be more appropriate.

    As a heads up read over the docs for Monobehaviour, Transform and GameObject. These three classes form the heart of scripting in Unity, and you won't get anything done without a decent understanding of them.
