Official Visual scripting roadmap update - September 2020

    I'm aware, but it's also been 3.5 years since acquisition with next to no functional improvements besides a buggy Input System support and... sticky notes. And a lot of breaking changes along the way. And there's still no ETA for when VS 2.0 will actually drop. Maybe in Unity 2024.1 or 2024.2 at the earliest but could easily also be Unity 2025 or even later since they're completely silent - not even a blog post, roadmap update or anything really.

    We also have 0 information on what is actually being done besides GTF migration and the new high perf runtime. Will they actually improve the tool or just port the existing one 1:1 to better performing systems? No one knows.

    It's Schrödinger's Visual Scripting, could be great, or could be DOA. Have to observe when it drops, if ever. At this point, WW3 might come quicker.
