Hi! I've found there is something in your asset similar to JustLogic. Is it true that your actions run around 10x slower than JustLogic premade units?

Also is it true that each VA script internally uses OnMouse* events even if you don't check Mouse* toggles? Unity warnings say that such events are very expensive on the devices. JustLogic has no problems like this and costs $5 less.

    Lol, no its not.

VA performs code-generation (for events, and optionally for everything else), so its fast as native code, and it doesn't even need pre-made units :)

Registered users with beta-access will know what I am talking about.

Code-generation? That sounds interesting. Do you mean generation at the prebuild time or there is "Generate" button to make pure c# scripts or you use assembly emitting? Your code-generation makes Unity to recompile assemblies every time you save the generated script, doesn't it?

We don't have a "generate" button, and no it doesn't do a recompile every time we save :)

Why don't you purchase to find out what we do? VA comes with the full source code!

    Hi Neo,

Apologies for being off the radar. My daughter was born just a few days ago, and naturally my time was completely consumed with that for quite a while before and after.

Will be back in action on "Visual Actions" ASAP!

No problem. Take good care of your daughter, VA can wait.

Another beta version nearly ready for release. Hopefully an official version 1.3 release soon thereafter.

    Hi Neo,

The new beta has a completely different way of handling "events". Now it can support any type of event, i.e, all Unity events, and even your own custom events.

I am also currently developing a method to "save" the actions that you add to a gameobject so you can reuse the on other GameObjects easily rather than having to add the actions again for every object.

As always, any ideas/refinements/tips are welcome!

I know that a lot of you have purchased Visual Actions since its always in the "top 10" in its category, but vey few know about the beta updates. So this is just a reminder to those who have purchased: You can register for free beta access by simply messaging me or e-mail.

    Kind regards,
    Sajid

I have just purchased it today from the Assett store but cannot work out how to download it?
I have a receipt and a PDF file but nowhere does it give a link.
A page was sent with a vague instruction to Open in Unity.....
I tried the Open In Unity" but cannot find Visual Actions anywhere in any project at all?
Have I been duped and thrown money away.
Where would my purchase be and how does one download it?
    Please reply.
    Thanks.

Does Visual Actions support Raycasting ?
    If so, where?
Or has Visual Actions not gotten that far yet?

    Hmmm.
I wonder why the Unity asett store keeps this "Visual Actions" in stock?
Thyere seems to be no support. No answers to questions and the purchase query by enzedda (above)apparently has not been given any answers by either Unity or Visual Actions???
    What is going on??
    Should I purchase it?
I guess not as probably my money would be taken but no software given!
Great one Unity Asset Store. About time you checked up on this what seems to be a SCAM!!

    Still waiting for a reply.
Hey Sajid, Do we get a "Happy New Year" soon?Must be nice to take peoples money and disappear.
And Unity, you are as much to blame as you are stocking this unsupported product.
What else in in your Asett store that has no support and may not even be "stocked"??
Hey,enzeeda..did you ever get your purchase or like others just give up?

    Dear Vertexx,

My apologies for your question going unanswered. However, as you may have noticed, the forum activity is low, which is mainly because we rely on e-mail. The support e-mail is provided on our Unity Asset Store page. As for enzedda, that was an asset store bug, and he was refunded.

In any event, to answer your question, Visual Actions is not a rendering plugin, hence it doesn't make any sense to ask whether Visual Actions supports Raycasting. However, VA "does" support any script that unity supports, including any ray-casting scripts that you may have. So if you are trying to trigger a raycasting function in a script through VA, then it will certainly work.

I hope that answers your question.

Does Visual Actions work with Windows 10 and Unity 5.5.1?
Cannot load any www sites mentioned on the Unity Assert store page for Visual Actions.
Support website and publishers website for Visual Actions is "Server not found"
    Have they vanished?
Don't want to spend $30 if it won't work.
    And what version is available.
    Apparently Version 2 is mentioned
But no reference to this in Asset store?

@vertexx : Visual Actions 2.0 is now released. We are working on getting the website back up again as well.

Yes, it works with Windows 10 and the latest version of Unity. Also, it is now $20 as a promotional price for the new version.

    Regards,
    Sajid

    Good afternoon,
I bought your asset but I do not see a way to destroy the object.
How can I do it ?
    Thank you.
