Violence and Sexual References. 18+ Is my game for kids?

Hi all

I just released my second game and am a bit disappointed with the rating. Its a population simulator where you control humanity with the use of explosives and disease.

The graphics and sound effects aren't gorey or violent. The species grows by people having sex obviously but that is just life. Is it really a sexual reference?

Is there anything I can do to change my rating?

Violence or Gore aren't restricted to Graphics or Sounds only...

 

Yeah, I know how it sounds. Maybe not for little kids, but 18+? Most games are more violent than this little app.

This game isn't about violence and sex, its about population.

Oh well

 

And violent games are mostly for ages 16+ or 18+, right? - Battlefield, Call of Duty, Warface, Grand Theft Auto for example... Have you thought about contacting and asking them why they gave you an 18+ rating?

On a funny side note: The german version of the Google Play Store shows a rating of "USK: Ages 6 and above".
