So, i've been able to get to the point where i am able to work with the player prefs to store the relevant information such as weapons collected, ammo for those weapons, upgrades for those weapons, etc...

Thing is, is there some way in unity (or outside of it) that i can use to view this data set as i build it rather than having to take notes everywhere and having to reference, cross-reference and the like?

it's more a matter of convenience to be able to have a window open that has a nice sheet of the table as i build it in the code (and also to avoid things like spelling errors and such.)

FYI, the answers in google usually come from forums like these.
If everyone responded the way you did, we would have no information to google.

So, then the only way to view them is to access the registry... gotcha (psst, unity-devs... a way to view it in the editor would be nice.)

and yeah, I agree, aburning... there's no need to throw some shade.

I've made a custom editor window a while ago which shows all your current PlayerPrefs which you can then edit or delete. After reading this topic I might just put it up on the AssetStore. Would you guys be interested in that?

    It looks like this:

(with the very orignal name PlayerPrefs Editor )

Player Prefs Plugin It's FREE and you can add/edit/delete string, int, float, bool, string array, int array, float array, bool array, Vector2, Vector3 and Rect. And if you have Player Prefs saved already this plugin will load them from registry (for Windows) or from player prefs file (for Mac).

Any further news on this? Are you still aiming to put this on the Asset Store?

As a matter of fact, it just went live yesterday! I had a pretty big setback as someone must had thought this was a good idea and build something similair with the name I was already using (in the screenshot) So I had to redo some stuff, made it cleaner and better :)

I already have a new feature planned but history taugth me not to thow it out in the open, so
you'll just have to wait a bit.

I now renamed it to Advanced PlayerPrefs Window and you can find it in the AssetStore right here:

That's great! Thanks for putting that on the store. It's very useful and well worth the purchase.

One suggestion for a future version if it's possible - it would be great to be able to filter the list of PlayerPrefs. For example, all keys starting with "abc" or whatever.

Thats an excellent suggestion and I will put it on my todolist!
It will actually fit right into an idea I already had, so stay tuned for an update :)

Just an update: I've been busy to make way for support for the search / filter entrylist. To do this I needed an even better interface so I've created a toolbar. The next update with this toolbar is going together nicely.
After that I will be doing the search/filter field.

That's not very friendly. I realize this was answered 8+ years ago, I hope you've matured since then.
