I've been playing around with the new VideoPlayer for the last few days.

Overall it seems to work pretty good, but for some reason setting the frame while playing a video will put the sound out of sync. The sound is syncing up fine if I just let the video play from the beginning.

I am using some test-clips from http://www.h264info.com/clips.html. They seem to follow the recommended specs (H.264, MP4, AAC audio etc.)

Playing the video from either source or url doesn't seem to matter.

Anyone else has this issue? Or a workaround? I am considering simply splitting the audio from the video completely so that I at least have control of the audio time. When played through the video player, the audio.time is controlled by it, so I seem to have no real access.

    Cheers,
    YSP

    Hi Yarry,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Would you please file a bug report with a minimal reproduction case?

I created a bug report with a minimum reproducible case.

The case is: "Case 889059: Setting VideoPlayer.frame from code offsets audio" for anyone interested.
