Bug video editing "." next frame doesn't work

I use the video playables in the unity asset and it's giving me a lot of trouble.
One of those trouble is that editing it is impossible: next frame doesn't show the next frame.
previous frame works, oddly, i say oddly because usually delta compression works well forward not backward.
so yeah the timebar in the timeline moves but the video doesn't change frame when i press "."

fix coming at some point?
i'm on 2020.1.17 urp 8.31, could be a decompression shader glitch in urp, not sure
