Video Video Background

I have a video (near camera plane) with an UI image as a background behind (for portions visible beyond the sides of the video).

It worked, but now (iOS 11) the video initially shows a solid color background instead of the image background, but if I go out of the video and reload it again it shows the correct image background.

Is there a way to script no color background so the image will definitely show the first time the video is run?
