Question video as background:is it possible?

first of all i don't speak english very well,i hope you understand.

My question is:can i use a video as background?
For example:i shoot my dog in the bed then i want to add sprite on this..i don't wish talking about game design,but the concept.
Can i handle the lenght of the video?i shoot a street and i add a car..if i go forward,the video is more fast,if i slow down the video is more slow..
i hope you understand!

 

Should be possible yes, depends on the hardware and software you use how well it works

Haven't used video in unity much, but just break down the issue into really small steps and work them out one by one

 

Yes, it can easily be done. Different ways to do it, you could google video on (render)texture in unity or so. Astron belt… not sure if you want to use video or just 3d…
