    Hi

I have encountered a very problematic issue when using VFX Graph.

The VFX Graph Effect crash my Mac if the value capacity is increased.
The crash symptoms are the Unity keep showing the rainbow progress indicator or sometimes shutdown my mac.

My Unity version having this problem is Unity 2019.4 and Unity 2020.1
    My Mac OS: Catalina 10.15.4
My Mac: Macbook Pro 13-inch 2020 / CPU: 1.7G Quad Core i7 / Graphic: Intel Iris Plus

But there is a case that can go beyond the limit:
it's working when the Output Blend setting is change to additive

    Thanks for the help

I have the same problem as you. If the capacity exceeds 1000 on the mac, it will crash. In another post, someone asked, but no one answered

Isn't it because currently VFX Graph uses compute shaders and they're not supported on mac! (Edit: Unity should switch to Metal - which supports compute shaders - automatically once on Mac though). Also that you're using an igpu than dgpu, with lower memory.
