Very beginner - Roll a ball game - lost view of canvas

How do I get back to the game canvas? No idea what I did.

Seemed to fix it by selecting top right layout button and returning to default.

 

Seems like you could use a bit of practice navigating through the editor a bit. Definitely check out the Interface & Essentials series of tutorials.

 

I know selecting an object you would like to view in the scene view in the hierarchy , hover your mouse over the scene window (where you are editing) then press 'F' to focus that object into view.

 

But I can't see the canvas in the hierarchy. That is strange.

 

He's not talking about a Canvas component. He means the playing area for the game, I'm sure.
