The first link (https://github.com/Microsoft/xbox-live-api/releases) is primarily for people in the ID@Xbox program and contains the full Xbox Live API. The Unity package makes it easy to include the right binaries in your project, but doesn't go beyond the standard API.

The second (https://github.com/Microsoft/xbox-live-unity-plugin/releases) is primarily for people releasing through the Xbox Live Creators Program. It's a Unity-specific plugin that includes custom prefabs that wrap some Xbox Live functionality. It does not cover the complete Xbox Live API at this time, though. It only covers the pieces supported through the Creators Program.

    Hi @kevincog_ms

I'm having issues with the cloud saving (creators program) part of the plug while building In IL2CPP. I and others have posted in the issue section of the forms on GitHub, but no one has responded. Last activity was in September. Is this plug-in still being supported?

    Thanks,

    John

I checked with the team who created it, and it is still supported, but it's primarily under a community support model. So, they can't respond to everything and are looking to the community to contribute fixes as well.
