Using Translucent material with a baked light does not seem to work?

    Running Unity 2019.3.12 with HDRP.
I've got this house which the player only sees from the outside. The scene is night time.
I've got a point light inside the house and some simple curtains in front of the window.
The curtain material is HDRP/Lit. I've set the material to Translucent and Opaque.
When the light is set to Realtime the light nicely shines through the curtains, casts shadows outside, etc.
When I switch the light to Baked and baked the lighting the translucency seems to be gone completely! No lit curtains, no shadows cast through the curtain to outside.

Am I missing something here? Is it not possible to use baked lights and Translucent materials? Does the material or the light or the light baking need any special settings (most are default in my scene)?

    Thanks for any suggestions!
