Using Torchlight II assets in unity

Hi guys, can this assets be imported to unity?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are assets made available to people to make mods by game creators.
Why it can not be used for a Unity non profit project with learning purposes?

 

If you figure out how to import it - then it can be done.
If your really into learning - an additional learning task could be to recreate an asset that looks similar to that an import it into Unity.
Im sure if you read the terms of service for the asset you have it would tell you you cant use it for commercial purposes.
If your really into learning - use any of the free assets from the asset store - or create your own - which is great learning experience.

the decision to make assets free to use for modding the original game, is to enrich the original game
you still cannot use these assets for anything else
seriously, as long as there is not stated that you can use the assets for commercial work without charge i wouldn't even bother with it
even if this is stated, you should check if the uploader has the rights to these assets
