    Hello,

As a part of recent update to authentication with steam the API got updated with an identity field, but it is not clear what the identity is within this context. Is it a unique id for the game? a unique id of the player? Is it something that is provided by either steam or authenticate sdk?

    Cheers

It's a little late, but in case anyone else is searching for this:

The identifier is a simple text string identifying the service trying to authenticate the ticket, so it can be anything you like.
"The identity of the remote service that will authenticate the ticket. The service should provide a string identifier. Pass null if none was provided." & "It is best practice to use an identity string for each service that will consume tickets."
