Hi. We wish to create an external environment to add to our own internal environment.
Can anyone tell me if it is OK/legal with the Unity guys to use/rework the demo files such as the island, or any other for that matter for building your own self promotions tools.

Obviously our demo fires up as a Unity3D engine based product so the credit is there.

    Thanks

There was a post by somebody at UT (David IIRC) a while back that basically said that so long as we use the assets in a game created with Unity, we are free to use them (the assets in the Island demo).

Yup, that's fine with all the assets in the Unity demos and tutorials. You can even find a text file in all the projects explaining this.
