    Hi there,

I usually work in my projects on my workstation but sometimes I need to use a laptop. So far I've been using 2 methods:
    - Just copying the project from workstation to laptop or viceversa when changing computer
    - Have my project in Microsoft Onedrive so it syncs on the cloud

Of course both solutions seem less than optimal. Is collaborate an alternative to this methods. I wish I just had to start unity on any computer and after a time I have the most recent version of my project ready to work.

    Yes it is.

But for your purposes Dropbox will probably also be fine (just make sure to exclude the library)

Excluding the library wouldn't break some of my scenes? Once I tried deleting the library and while the project was fine some gameobjects in my scenes missed references to other gameobjects made in the inspector

Unity Collaborate should work fine for your situation. Just keep in mind that you'll need to keep the editor version on both computers the same, or upgrade both versions when you want to upgrade.
