Question Using AR Foundation for 6DoF Pose Estimation

    Currently, we are working on a robot pick-up and place project. There will be a replica of the real environment in Unity. The poses of objects in the Unity scene must be identical to the real-world objects. I want to track various objects' locations and orientations. Some papers call this Augmented Virtuality. It is the opposite of AR.
    Windows is going to be the main platform.

    I am researching computer vision papers on 6DoF Pose estimation which is beyond my skillset. So I am looking for ready solutions.

    Can we utilize ARFoundtion for the purpose?

    I think ar foundation is fully 6DoF indeed. You can use arf 5.0 preview for in-editor ar simulation as well!
