Question userPresence always return true, even when HMD is removed on WMR runtime

    Hi,

    I am facing an issue where the Samsung Odyssey Windows Mixed Reality headset is not detecting if the HMD is removed, the userPresence always returns true in WMR runtime, Works correctly on SteamVR runtime. However, it doesn't stop the camera pos and rotation like on other devices.

    I tried to set the Active Input Handling in project settings to "Both" and to "Input System Package (New)" getting the same results.

    The HMD disables the notification of Win + y correctly whenever I remove it.

    Is there a way to get the userPresence correctly on WMR runtime?

    Unity version: 2020.3.35f1
    OpenXR: 1.4.2
    XR plugin management 4.2.0

    Sorry that you're encountering this issue. It's a known problem and is being addressed but unfortunately I don't have a ready-made workaround for you.
