use arabic text in the inspector

hi,

I am converting an old unity program wrote in unity2.6 to use arabic text. I cannot use a newer version of unity i have to use 2.6 unforturnately

I have managed to get arabic text to apper in OnGui when the game is running but cannot get arabic text to appear in the editor when I type it.

I have set the keyboard region type to arabic but when ever i type anything in the editor, the keyboard does not respond.

Could anyone help me beable to use arabic text in the editor?

 

You need to create an editor window to do your automatic conversion for editors too. been there, done that.

 

All i need to be able to do is write/copy arabic text into an editor text field. If i try to type into project search box, it acts like it is searching but no text is displayed in the search box. If you could help me solve that, it would be very helpful
