    My first sports based character just went live on the Asset Store!

    This is a US football player intended for rapid prototyping. Animations are "in-place" and not using root motion. There is a Mecanim Animation Controller in the demo scene, allowing you to test each animation in the editor.

    3D Model -> 6,830 triangles
    (1) 256px eye texture
    (1) 1024px helmet texture
    (1) 2048px head and uniform texture map.

    These texture maps are in PSD format with layers intact allowing you to customize the uniform colors, numbers, helmet decals and eye color.

    There are (17) provided animations as can be seen in the YouTube video demo.

    Nice work James. Animations are pretty good. Might consider adding squatted running back and squatted running back turn left/right and a couple tackle motions to the mix.
    Also - it is consumer friendly to add if the model is humanoid compatible or set up as generic rig.

    Yeah that's true. Its a standard 3ds Max biped rig which is what I think even Unity has alluded to in regards to re-targeting. It should work re-targeted, if not it's usually not hard at all to take a simple rig and add animations to it in a 3D application. It's obviously time consuming though as you won't have IK and a rig for that and will have to FK rotate bones to animate. I intend on adding some more animations as I get good source to reference them from. I see it as evolving over time.

    It will as long as the triangle neck and pelvis have been changed from the default setting. :)
