URP on 2018.4.x?

is it possible to installing Universal Render pipeline on 2018.4.x??
what does packages needs to installing on 2018.4.x??

com.unity.render-pipelines.universal
com.unity.render-pipelines.core
com.unity.shadergraph

and what ???

 

URP is for 2019.3 and higher.

You have to use LWRP 4.x for Unity 2018.3 and 2018.4.
For Unity 2019.1 you would use LWRP 5.x
For 2019.2 its LWRP 6.x
For 2019.3 LWRP 7.x = renamed to URP 7.x
And for 2020.1 its URP 8.x.

 

Thanks for that - would be an "incredible innovation" for Unity to drop some text exactly like this in their documentation, considering how many versions are in active use.
