Bug URP Deferred Spotlights Shadow bug [URP 14, 15] [Fixed in new Unity]

    Greeetings chat, I have recently encountered couple strange URP lighting behaviours. The first and stranger one applies to shadows from a spotlight on deferred URP settings (does not happen on Forward+):

    Replicated in empty URP sample project (.zip attachment)


    I have also noticed a curious behaviour when the shadowcasters are larger polygons. I assume this is some under-the-hood shadow optimization but I am showing it here in case its a bug too (Both forward and Deferred):

    Hi, did you send a bug report in editor with the link of this thread?

    Maybe it's an issue happening during the rendering of light shapes to stencil buffer. However, I cannot visualize it in Frame Debugger.

    It disappears temporarily if adding and toggling another spot light (with shadow) in scene.

    But reappear after refreshing rendering buffers. (ex. changing the HDR precision)

    This issue has been resolved in new patches of Unity. Thanks, Unity!
